I’m so honored to be included in the lineup of amazing entrepreneurs, small business owners and artisans who populated the Honorable Mention finalists for the 2022 Made in NC Awards, put together annually by Our State Magazine. My entire experience with the staff and everyone who makes Our State look so deliciously tangible in print and online, was phenomenal, from the very first submission inquiry, all the way through being a vendor at the Best of Our State Marketplace, a show reserved just for the winners in the Made in NC Awards, hosted at Pinehurst Resort in beautiful Pinehurst, NC. They made it SO enjoyable that I’ll be back competing again this year, hoping to pull out a win as a jeweler-something that has never happened in the entirety of the time the contest has been running.

They may have created a monster; I have ideas for days! ;)

I met amazing people on this journey, had the best photographer with Chris Hannant, also from here in the Outer Banks and as a result, I’ve been blessed with so many media opportunities helping showcase my little business. To say I’m grateful is an understatement of extreme proportions.
