My design approach is very much centered around the water. Not only is 71% of our planet covered by water, it also provides half of our oxygen, is a wellspring of wellspring of happiness and relaxation, sociality and romance, peace and freedom, play and creativity, learning and memory, innovation and insight, elation and nostalgia, confidence and solitude, wonder and awe, empathy and compassion, reverence and beauty.

My jewelry focus extends beyond the local beaches of the Outer Banks here in NC, it also travels across the globe to beaches around the world. My goal is to take you on a journey through the exploration of cultures, history and imagery. Each new collection is a Costa Rican jungle, a Mediterranean oasis, a Polynesian paradise, a Balinese coral reef, and so many more.

In addition to fostering more widely appreciated ecological and cultural diversities, our mental well-being, emotional diversity, and resiliency also rely on the global ecological integrity of our waters. With that in mind, TurtleBay Jewelry often ties into local non-profits with a passion for sea turtle rehabilitation, dune restoration and beach and waterway cleanups.
